Dan Clendenin

Dan is currently the Managing Director of Cary Street Partners and resides with his family in downtown Fredericksburg. For over twelve years, Dan has counseled clients internationally on a comprehensive range of sensitive-and-complex life events. To include: retirement and cash flow analysis, company purchases and sales, real estate acquisition/divestment, estate and legacy planning, as well as sophisticated charitable solutions. Dan’s team of eight professionals has developed a unique financial planning process, paired with cutting-edge technology, which they use to drive value for the clients they serve.

He also serves as an investor in CSP’s parent company, Luxon Financial; is a trustee of the University of Virginia’s Physicians Group Investment Committee; and a trustee of the Mary Washington Hospital Foundation. Dan graduated from the University of Mary Washington, where he studied Business and Accounting, while serving as President of his class. He remains very active with his alma mater, where he is currently a member of the UMW College of Business Executive Advisory Board. Dan has served as a Guest Lecturer for the University on topics including Business Ethics and Financial Services and is a former two-term member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
